Great spot with stunning views…easy walk into the village to explore. Great choice of breakfasts which were all delicious and last but not least a warm welcome from Maureen and Michael - Kenny D
Central locationGood breakfast with creative itemsRooms have paper thin walls. Also when told that the bedheadboard was hitting the wall, the owner did not appear to be open to the information.Price high for this accommodation and time of year- L
We were a group 4. It was our first trip to Ullapool and this area of the Highlands. We were greeted by Maureen and Michael upon our arrival. The accommodations offered by The Shelling GuestHouse were more than we expected. The rooms were very comfortable. The setting on the water is fabulous. Breakfast choices were numerous and prepared to order. Our compliments to the chef for outstanding fare. Michael and Maureen had many suggestions for things to do during our stay. Unfortunately we only had 2 nights at the Shelling. We could have stayed at least 2 more nights. Highly recommended for a very relaxing holiday. - Peter C. C
