About Us

Situated by the edge of Loch Broom on the outskirts of Ullapool, The Sheiling enjoys spectacular views of mountains and lochs. The house, purpose built in 1989, has been owned and run by Michael and Maureen Savage since November 2018.

THE SHEILING
The Sheiling comprises five letting bedrooms, double and twin-bedded, all with en-suite facilities - all with a shower.  All rooms have a hospitality tray. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor, and two of the upstairs bedrooms have loch views.

There is a comfortable residents lounge with open fire and electric piano, which is available all day should the weather be inclement, and a spacious split-level breakfast room where only the best of Highland fare is served.  Both these rooms have stunning loch views.

Free WiFi is available throughout the house.

OUR FACILITIES
Within the grounds of the B&B is the 'Sportsmans Lodge' comprising a laundry with washing machine, dryer and iron, drying room and cycle store.

Guests who prefer the outdoors might wish to enjoy an afternoon relaxing on our patio overlooking the loch, or there are many walks which are easily accessible from Ullapool to suit all abilities, from an easy stroll to a demanding Munro.

For evening meals or a leisurely lunch, Ullapool has a fine selection of hotels and restaurants, most within easy walking distance.

The Sheiling is strictly no smoking and dogs are accepted only by prior arrangement.
